And again another course is FINITO. And again it is TOO BAD, because I am loving on my profs like nobody's business. I just did a course called the "theology of mission".
We learned some pretty cool things. For example, worship is the goal and fuel of mission. Mission exists because worship doesn't; where there is not worship, there is mission, so worship, not mission, is the first priority.
We talked a lot about the importance of learning to
Our prof had live in Congo for years, so it was really interesting studying under someone who has lived what he's now teaching. I want to go to Africa hahah. It was a really convicting course. It was good to be reminded that I'm called to "be a missionary" every minute of the day.
I'm also developing a passion for justice.
Looking at the emphasis the Bible puts on taking care of the orphans and the widows and the heart that the Lord has for the poor.... I've really enjoyed ministering to the homeless this year. It gets me excited for the future thinking about the possibility of working for them full time.
Peace out!
